Between 1976 and 1980 he experiented with many techniques and methodes to make candles.
But none gave him the liberty to make the forms and designs he had in mind.
Between 1980 and 1984 Michael experimented with hand forming candles and
developed his first rainbowcandle, a small white apple with rainbowcolored stripes.
From 1985 till 1990 he worked for Harmut Kempter's Kerzenmanufaktur in Berlin.
In 1992 Michael started his own business and has since then developed a large
collection which in the meanwhile has gained worldfame. Each and everyone of his candles,
he forms with his barehands from previously colored wax at a temperature of about 48° C .
This makes each candle unique. Michael is still busy to perfect his technique and to develop
new designs . Each candle is a small piece of Art.
